Who We Are
Artificial Voice of the Voiceless (AVOV) is a Ghanaian non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness, promoting early detection, and supporting individuals affected by neck and throat cancers. We exist to give a voice to those whose voices have been silenced by illness, stigma, and lack of access to information.
AVOV was founded from lived experience and a deep desire to ensure that no one suffers due to lack of awareness, delayed diagnosis, or limited support. We believe that knowledge saves lives, early detection improves outcomes, and every individual deserves dignity, care, and hope throughout their health journey.
Through education, advocacy, and community engagement, we are working to build a future where throat and neck cancers are detected early, treated promptly, and understood without fear or stigma.

Why Our Work Matter
Neck and throat cancers remain among the least understood health conditions in many communities. Many people are unaware of early symptoms, leading to delayed diagnosis and limited treatment options. Cultural stigma and fear often prevent individuals from seeking medical help early.
At AVOV, we believe these challenges can be overcome through education, community engagement, and compassionate support. By increasing awareness and encouraging early screening, we help save lives and improve quality of life for patients and families.
